Stephanie has seen that community-centered policy is possible and has been able to consult with organizations on political strategy, effective outreach programs, and authentic community engagement.

Over the last decade, Stephanie has had a number of board positions and committee assignments including with Disability Law Center, ACLU-Utah, and, currently, Utah’s Medicaid Advisory Committee, Utah’s Community Health Worker Association Board, and Camden Coalition Board of Trustees.

Stephanie finds purpose through channeling her struggle into systems change. She finds solace in her faith and joy in hiking Utah’s beautiful mountains, ice skating, and spending time with family and friends.
